Pure counter current flow configuration is optimum and requires less heat surface compared to traditional multi-pass tubular exchangers.
Closures of the separated head type for severe services or of the unihead type, less expensive, for moderate services.
Available with plain tubes, or with longitudinally finned tubes very efficient on viscous or gaseous applications.
